Lead Bypass Prevention Policy

1. Policy Statement

EduuMatch invests significant resources in acquiring parent traffic, building marketplace trust, and connecting parents with qualified tutors. Lead bypass — where tutors circumvent the Platform's lead generation and monetization systems — directly undermines this investment and is treated as a material breach of contract.

2. Prohibited Conduct

Direct Bypass

• Asking a parent to call, WhatsApp, or email directly
• Sharing phone numbers before lead unlock
• Sending WhatsApp links or Telegram invites in platform messages
• Including contact information in profile or communications

Indirect Bypass

• Using code words or obfuscation to imply contact details
• Suggesting the parent "search for me on Instagram/Facebook"
• Providing partial contact information ("call 98xxx-xxx00")
• Using file names or document metadata to hide contact info

Systematic Bypass

• Creating multiple accounts to circumvent lead restrictions
• Using friends or family to contact parents on the Tutor's behalf
• Operating a separate coaching business that contacts EduuMatch parents directly
• Harvesting parent data from leads for off-platform marketing

3. Detection Methods

EduuMatch employs automated content scanning (regex-based detection of phone numbers, emails, URLs), pattern analysis (obfuscation detection), behavioural monitoring (low conversion rates suggesting off-platform communication), parent reports, honeypot monitoring, and cross-account analysis.

Tutors may appeal enforcement actions within 7 days. Appeals must be in writing and include evidence of compliance. EduuMatch will respond within 14 business days. During appeal, any suspension remains in effect.
