Welcome to EduuMatch. These Tutor Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the EduuMatch platform as a tutor. By registering, accessing, or using EduuMatch, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not register or use the platform.
To register as a Tutor, you must:
Your profile and all associated Content must not contain: mobile phone numbers, WhatsApp numbers or links, email addresses, Telegram usernames or similar messaging identifiers, social media handles (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.), personal website URLs, coaching centre or institutional website URLs, direct booking links (Calendly, etc.), QR codes linking to external platforms, payment links (UPI IDs, PayPal, etc.), or any other external contact or communication method.
All parent-tutor communication must originate and remain on the EduuMatch Platform until a lead has been properly unlocked according to the Platform's monetization rules.
Tutors must not provide false, exaggerated, or misleading information about qualifications and certifications, teaching experience, subjects taught, student outcomes or success rates, or availability or location.
Profile images, uploaded documents, and review responses must not contain any of the prohibited content listed above.
EduuMatch reserves the right to: request additional documentation at any time, verify information through third-party services, reject verification applications without providing specific reasons, and revoke verification status if information is found to be inaccurate or fraudulent.
Once a profile has been verified, certain fields may be locked to maintain accuracy and trust. Locked fields include name, qualifications, experience details, and identity information. Requests to modify locked fields must be submitted through the Platform's change request process. Modification requests may require re-verification or admin review.
Tutors may be required to pay a fee to unlock and respond to parent leads.
Tutors may purchase subscription plans that provide enhanced profile visibility, priority placement in search results, reduced lead unlock fees, and access to additional platform features.
All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified. EduuMatch may change fee structures with 30 days' notice.
Tutors must respond to parent enquiries in a timely and professional manner, conduct themselves respectfully, honour commitments made to parents, and maintain accurate availability information. Tutors must not harass, abuse, or discriminate against any user, use the Platform for any unlawful purpose, attempt to manipulate search rankings or review systems, create fake reviews, or use automated bots or scripts.
By uploading Content to the Platform, Tutors grant EduuMatch a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to display profile information, publish reviews and ratings, use profile information for search indexing and marketplace operations, and reproduce Content for promotional purposes with attribution.
EduuMatch may suspend or terminate a Tutor account for violation of these Terms, provision of false or fraudulent information, abusive or harassing conduct, spam or misuse of Platform systems, non-payment of fees, illegal activity, or any conduct that threatens Platform integrity.
Suspension tiers include Warning (Level 1), Temporary Suspension (Level 2, 7-30 days), Extended Suspension (Level 3, 90 days), and Permanent Termination (Level 4).
Before initiating any formal proceedings, parties agree to attempt informal resolution for 30 days. If unresolved, disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, conducted in Bokaro / Ranchi, Jharkhand. These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to the arbitration clause, the courts in Bokaro / Ranchi, Jharkhand shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
EduuMatch provides the Platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis. EduuMatch's total liability to a Tutor shall not exceed the total fees paid by the Tutor in the 12 months preceding the claim. EduuMatch is not liable for loss of leads, revenue, or business opportunities, indirect or consequential damages, or acts of third parties.
EduuMatch may modify these Terms at any time with 15 days' notice. Continued use of the Platform after modifications constitutes acceptance.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the Tutor and EduuMatch. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
EduuMatch collects, processes, and stores your personal data in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). You have the right to access, correct, delete, and port your data. For complete details, refer to our Privacy Policy and Privacy & Data Usage Policy.
In compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, the Grievance Officer for EduuMatch is designated to address complaints and concerns regarding the Platform.
