By accessing or using the EduuMatch website (www.eduumatch.com) or any of its services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the platform.
EduuMatch is a tutor discovery platform based in Bokaro, Jharkhand, India. We provide a directory of tutors so parents can discover and connect with them directly. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and EduuMatch.
EduuMatch is a discovery and listing platform. We display tutor profiles (name, subjects, area, qualifications, fees) to help parents find suitable tutors. Parents browse listings and initiate contact with tutors directly.
EduuMatch does not act as an intermediary, agent, broker, or employer of any tutor. We are a connector platform only.
To use certain features of the platform, you must create an account with accurate, current, and complete information. You must be at least 18 years of age to register as a tutor.
All users must comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000 (IT Act), the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), and all applicable Indian laws and regulations.
For parents: EduuMatch is completely free to browse, search, and contact tutors. There is no fee, commission, or charge for parents.
For tutors: Registration on the platform is free. Tutors may choose to purchase paid services as described below.
EduuMatch offers the following paid services to tutors:
Featured Elite subscribers are subject to a Fair Usage Policy. Unlocks exceeding 100 per month may result in reduced visibility for the remainder of the billing cycle. Unlocks exceeding 200 per month will trigger a review and may result in account restrictions. This policy ensures equal opportunity for all tutors on the platform.
All payments are processed securely through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. EduuMatch does not store credit card numbers, debit card numbers, UPI PINs, or bank account passwords on its servers. Payment transactions are subject to Razorpay’s terms of service.
EduuMatch reserves the right to change fee structures with 30 days’ notice to affected users.
This No Refund Policy is governed by the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. In the event of a proven service deficiency on EduuMatch’s part, refunds will be processed within 30 days.
Tutors must provide accurate and truthful information in their profile, including qualifications, experience, subjects, fees, and availability. Misleading or false information is a material breach of these Terms.
Tutor profiles must not contain: mobile phone numbers, WhatsApp numbers or links, email addresses, Telegram usernames or similar messaging identifiers, social media handles, personal website URLs, coaching centre URLs, direct booking links, QR codes linking to external platforms, payment links (UPI IDs, PayPal, etc.), or any other external contact or communication method.
Tutors must not attempt to bypass the lead system by: asking parents to contact them directly via phone, WhatsApp, email, or any other channel; sharing contact information before a lead has been properly unlocked; redirecting parents to external websites or third-party platforms; suggesting off-platform communication to avoid lead unlock fees; using code words or obfuscation to imply contact details; including contact details in file names, document metadata, or image EXIF data.
Tutors must: respond to parent enquiries in a timely and professional manner, honour commitments made to parents, maintain accurate availability information, not harass, abuse, or discriminate against any user, and not use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
EduuMatch may verify tutor identities and qualifications through: government ID verification (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport), educational certificate validation, and subject knowledge assessment.
Once a profile has been verified, certain fields become locked to maintain accuracy and trust: name, qualifications, experience details, identity information, and verification documents. Requests to modify locked fields must be submitted through the Platform’s change request process and may require re-verification or admin review.
Tutor ranking on EduuMatch is determined by a multi-factor algorithm. Paid subscriptions provide visibility boosts but do not guarantee top placement. Ranking factors include verification status (20%), profile completeness (15%), response rate (15%), reviews and ratings (15%), subscription tier (10%), recent activity (10%), lead acceptance (5%), experience (5%), profile views (3%), and parent reports (2%).
Ranking manipulation (fake reviews, click fraud, keyword stuffing, lead padding, category abuse) is prohibited and will result in ranking penalties or account suspension.
The complete Ranking Policy is published separately at /tutor-ranking.
Parents may submit reviews and ratings for tutors they have engaged. EduuMatch reserves the right to moderate reviews for compliance with its Content Policy. Fake reviews, review manipulation, and retaliatory reviews are prohibited. Tutors may respond to reviews professionally. Abusive or defamatory responses will be removed.
Violations are classified into three categories: Content Violations (prohibited content, misleading information), Conduct Violations (lead bypass, abuse, platform manipulation), and Account Violations (fraudulent identity, multiple accounts, non-payment).
Enforcement follows a progressive matrix based on violation severity and frequency: Warning (Level 1), Lead Restriction (Level 2), Temporary Suspension (Level 3, 7–90 days), or Permanent Termination (Level 4).
The following result in immediate permanent termination with no appeal: fraudulent identity (fake Aadhaar, PAN, or government ID), fraudulent certificates (fabricated degree certificates), child safety violations, payment fraud (chargeback fraud, stolen payment methods), illegal activity, and systematic marketplace abuse.
The complete Enforcement Policy is published separately at /tutor-enforcement-policy.
