1 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the EduuMatch website (www.eduumatch.com) or any of its services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the platform.

EduuMatch is a tutor discovery platform based in Bokaro, Jharkhand, India. We provide a directory of tutors so parents can discover and connect with them directly.

2 Service Description

2.1 Platform Nature

EduuMatch is a discovery and listing platform. We display tutor profiles (name, subjects, area, qualifications, fees) to help parents find suitable tutors. Parents browse listings and initiate contact with tutors directly.

EduuMatch does not act as an intermediary, agent, broker, or employer of any tutor. We are a connector platform only.

2.2 What We Do

• Provide a public directory of registered tutors in Bokaro
• Display tutor profiles with relevant information
• Enable contact requests between parents and tutors
• Verify tutor identities and qualifications (when applicable)

2.3 What We Do Not Do

• We do not match parents with tutors
• We do not employ, supervise, or control tutors
• We do not guarantee tutor availability, teaching quality, or outcomes
• We do not manage payments between parents and tutors (currently)
• We are not a party to any tutor-parent agreement

3 Pricing & Fees

3.1 Current Model

For parents: EduuMatch is completely free to browse, search, and contact tutors. There is no fee, commission, or charge.

For tutors: Registration on the platform is free. We do not charge tutors for listing or for any student referrals.

3.2 Future Monetization

EduuMatch reserves the right to introduce paid features in the future, including but not limited to:

• Premium tutor listings and enhanced profile visibility
• Subscription tiers for advanced discovery features
• Commission or service fees on certain transactions
• Advertising or sponsored listings

4 No Refund Policy

5 Tutor Responsibilities

By registering on EduuMatch, tutors agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information in their profile
• Keep their profile information up to date (availability, fees, subjects)
• Respond to parent contact requests in a timely manner
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Maintain professional conduct with parents and students
• Not misuse the platform for any fraudulent or illegal activity

6 Parent / User Responsibilities

By using EduuMatch, parents agree to:

• Use the platform for genuine tutor discovery purposes only
• Provide accurate information in contact requests
• Not harass, spam, or misuse tutor contact information
• Conduct their own due diligence before engaging a tutor
• Not use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

7 Tutor Verification

7.1 Verification Process

EduuMatch may verify tutor identities and qualifications through:

• Aadhaar or government ID verification
• Educational certificate validation
• Subject knowledge assessment

7.2 Verification Disclaimer

EduuMatch makes reasonable efforts to verify tutors but cannot independently confirm the accuracy of all information provided.

8 User Accounts & Security

• Tutors are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.
• Tutors must notify EduuMatch immediately of any unauthorized access to their account.
• EduuMatch reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

9 Intellectual Property

All content on EduuMatch — including the logo, branding, text, graphics, and code — is the property of EduuMatch and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without prior written consent.

10 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• EduuMatch is not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the platform.
• EduuMatch is not liable for the actions, conduct, or teaching quality of any tutor listed on the platform.
• EduuMatch is not liable for any disputes between parents and tutors.
• Use of the platform is at your own risk.

EduuMatch's total liability, if any, shall not exceed ₹1,000 (One Thousand Indian Rupees).

11 Dispute Resolution & Jurisdiction

• Any disputes arising from these terms shall be governed by the laws of India.
• The exclusive jurisdiction for any legal proceedings shall be the courts in Bokaro / Ranchi, Jharkhand.
• We encourage amicable resolution through direct communication before pursuing legal remedies.

12 Termination

EduuMatch reserves the right to:

• Suspend or terminate any tutor or parent account without notice if these terms are violated.
• Remove any tutor profile at our sole discretion.
• Modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform at any time.

13 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
